The “Trump Dossier” was a “research contract” given to a retired British M16 agent Mr Chris Steele by a Political Action Committee related to Jeb Bush to gather opposition research on Trump during Republican primaries….
When Jeb dropped out, the Democrats got the dossier and asked the British MI6 Agent Mr Chris Steele to continue the job…BUT he was paid on “output”. So Mr Steele simply put any and everything into the “Trump Dossier”, if he said Trump was a communist, he got paid, if he said Trump was an alien he got paid…
The “Trump Dossier” was presented to President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden as part of their Intelligence briefing, they (Obama and Biden) questioned what the document was doing in the Presidential Intelligence briefings.
The Dossier was not used by the Hillary campaign because it could not be verified…Then BuzzFeed an online new outlet posted the Dossier in full online, That post was referenced by CNN…thus the Dossier became a “public document” even as BuzzFeed editors put a clear cavert…”we have not verified the claims made in this document”.
All these are a well planned and spohisticated effort to delegitimize the election victory of Mr Trump…the efforts have included
1. Public protests on the streets
2. Pressure on Electors to reject the vote of the general elections
3. Last minute sanctions on Russia and deployment of US Army to Poland that borders Russia
4. Investigations by Inspector General into FBI Head Comey.
And more will come.
Remains to be seen what will happen in this last week of the Obama Presidency but make no mistake the American 2020 Presidential elections have began.
