The Executive Order signed by the US President prioritizes admission of individuals persecuted because of their religion.
In essence, if an individual is a religious minority like a Shite in Nigeria, a Rohinga in Burma or a Yazidi in Syria, and their religion is a minority religion in their country of nationality, that individual moves up the line and is prioritized for Admission into the US.
