So we may soon be witnessing global history.
Saudi Arabia and the Arab States like Qatar, Turkey and Egypt are going to make “peace” with Israel so they can join forces and counter Iran.
The casualty could be the Palestinian State.
The US seems to be on board, (That’s why Mr Trump said Two or One Palestinian State). The Europeans will sway where the Arabs lobby goes. Turkey a NATO member on the door steps of EU Membership is on Saudi Arabian side. What about the large non-Arab Muslim states like Malaysia and Nigeria? where will they fall?
Nigeria in particular has cracked down on Iranian backed Shiite population, this alliance with Saudi Arabia may be a way to win favors from the Arab League. Keep in mind Nigeria and Malaysia have also joined the Saudi Arabian coalition to fight “terror” and Nigeria desperately needs the investment capital from the Arab league
Economically a weaker Iran empower OPEC and Saudi Arabia to maintain production cuts and raise crude oil prices. Iran has refused to implement production cuts until it recovers its key markets lost during sanctions imposed on Iran by the West. Nations like Venezuela and Nigeria will like higher crude oil prices. (Keep in mind Venezuela and Iran are great friends)
So what about Iran? who is on their own side? Russia.
Russia is the only power that backs 100%. The nuclear reactor in Iran is being built by Iran, the Russians have sold to Iran the very sophisticated S-300 Surface to Air missiles. These missiles are a key deterrent to any airstrike on Iran. Russia is also in direct military collaboration with Iran in Syria.
So its all connected, Syria, Israel, Crude Oil, Saudi Arabia, US, Palestine even Nigeria.
